London Olympic campaign example to attract foreign tourist
According to the established practice of participation of guest lecturers, today on 08/03/2013, University of Tourism and Management had the honor to host the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain in the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Christopher Yvon. Lecture, in addition to students from UTMS, attended part of the professors, was presented the UK as a tourist destination, with particular emphasis on London, a city that for years has developing tourism.

His presentation, Ambassador Yvone began by showing a video presentation for the UK as a tourist destination, where the emphasis was placed on London 2012, ie holding of Olympics and Paralympics Games, which he said represented the opportunity to promote the UK as a to attract and achieve great benefits to the economy in general, and of course tourism.

Speaking for campaign Ambassador Yvone stressed that it is designed based on the platform of the Olympic Games that were held in 2012, through which it has to show the potential of the UK. Above all, to promote and enhance the reputation of his country abroad, but also to increase the economic potential.

Lectures from Ambassador Yvone by students of UTMS were followed with particular attention, and after its completion were asked questions concerning, above all, the way and travel opportunities in the UK, but also for strategic attracting a significant number of UK tourists in our country.

Otherwise, in the framework of the visit of UTMS, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain accomplished meeting with the Vice Chancellor for International Cooperation Prof. Zoran Ivanovski PhD., Vice Chancellor for Teaching Prof. Mijalce Gjorgievski PhD., and with Professor Dimitar Bojadjieski which was expressed mutual satisfaction with this type of cooperation between Embassy and UTMS, which is of mutual benefit.

The visit of His Excellency was implemented under the program of the University of Tourism and Management for inviting guest lecturers, who with their speeches have the opportunity to present their country from economic, tourism and cultural aspect.
